This term there are a group of parents working really hard on producing story sacks for children to use in their literacy lessons. They will be used to promote story telling and encourage creativity.
We have had a sneaky preview of one of the story sacks.
We are very lucky to have a team of enthusiastic parents working on this project with Mrs Evans. There is still time to get involved so please contact Mrs Evans for more information.
We would like to share with you that we have been very busy updating our guided reading materials. Friends have kindly brought new group guided reading books for Reception, Year 1 and 2. There is a range of fiction, non fiction and play scripts for the children to enjoy. We can’t wait to start using them. KS2 classes have been developing Whole class Reading and the teachers have been able to buy a set of whole class texts, again friends have supported the school in purchasing these books!
