On the 7th of February, my family and I went to the Design Museum, in London.
We went because my brother Rowan had entered the Ventura Design competition, with 3 friends from Beechen Cliff, and they got into the top 10 teams. So they were invited to the award ceremony – and so were we!
Rowan and his friends designed a portable phone holder, made from Bamboo. It was really exciting to see who was going to win, and the other designs were really good too – my favourite was a plate that stopped things spilling off.
Rowan’s team the award for the most Sustainable design, so we were really happy
Rowan wants to design things for his job when he leaves school. His design is on show at the museum.
