Welcome back after a sunny half term break.
It doesn’t seem long since our last newsletter and the academic year is starting to race by.
Thank you to all those who have responded to the recent survey monkey on ‘Christmas Performances’. If you haven’t responded yet but would like to, it is still live and will be until Friday 8th March. You were sent a link via email. Please ask the school office if you need the link to be sent again.
We’ll post the results in the March edition of our newsletter.

Our aim is always for the school to open. We will always endeavour to open the school as long as health and safety criteria are met:
Late opening of and/or early closure of the school is a possibility in poor weather conditions.
It is extremely important to us at Bathampton Primary School that it is as simple as possible for you to know how best to deal with any questions that you may have regarding your child in school. We want you to always be able to communicate with someone, sooner rather than later.
Sometimes it’s difficult to decide who best to speak to. Mr Brewer or a senior member of staff will usually be outside the front of the school in the mornings; if in doubt, please just ask.
In most instances the best way to communicate with school is to speak to the class teacher or approach the school office. If you can’t do this in person, an email to firstname.lastname@example.org will find its way to the correct person. In some rare circumstances it may be appropriate to email the teacher directly, in these cases this would need to be agreed by all parties, for example, through an SEND or pastoral meeting.
To help further, attached is a simple ‘communication flow chart’. This should support you in deciding who best to speak to regarding your child. You can also find this flow chart on our school website.
